Confidentiality and Privacy
Holistic Life Organising is a professional service committed to maintaining complete confidentiality. Any personal, business, or possession-related details shared during our work together will remain fully protected. As a member of the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office), I adhere to all relevant privacy regulations to safeguard your information.
On rare occasions, I may refer to examples of my work to showcase the types of challenges I help clients with, but these will always be anonymised and completely unidentifiable. For instance, I might mention the time it took to organise a specific space or highlight a solution that worked particularly well.
With your explicit permission, I may take ‘before-and-after’ photographs for reference or ask for testimonials to feature on my website or marketing materials. However, this is entirely optional, and no personal information will ever be shared without your consent.
Insurance
I carry full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance for the services I provide.
Although I handle all possessions with care, accidents can occasionally happen. I cannot take responsibility for damage or loss and recommend ensuring your own insurance policies are up to date to cover any unforeseen incidents.
Associations
Holistic Life Organising is proud to be a member of APDO UK (The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers) and abides by its strict Code of Ethics.
Cancellation
Both you and I reserve the right to cancel an agreement due to unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If notice is given less than 48 hours before the scheduled session, a fee of 50% of the session cost will apply.
Please note that any travel costs or expenses already incurred that are non-refundable will remain your responsibility and will be invoiced at the time of cancellation.
Hours of Work
You will only be charged for the hours worked. While we will generally agree on a set number of hours for each session, the exact time required to complete the work may vary depending on the specific circumstances.
Removal of Items
The decision to remove any items from your premises, whether to be donated, disposed of, or relocated, is entirely up to you. I can help coordinate appropriate services where needed, but I will not take any items off-site myself or act without your explicit instructions.
Payment Terms
Services are charged by the hour, and invoices will be sent via email upon completion of the session. Payments are due immediately upon receipt by bank transfer. Any unpaid balance after 14 days will incur interest at a rate of 2% per month.
A signed agreement is required before we begin work. Please download, sign, and send back the contract before our first session. In certain cases, a deposit may be requested to confirm bookings and secure services.
